Had my 10 year old son take some practice CDL tests

I stand corrected. Good thing I don’t have to take the test Today! I’m wondering if the Boy gets to Drive once he passes.

 

I'm shocked at the banner headline, "10year old takes CDL tests",,,I'm not sure we have a talented 10 year old, or the industry has sunk to a new low,,,thanks for my daily example of " the world is a freakin' joke" ( George Carlin)

 

Ontario rules are:
3 for a straight truck
4 with 1 trailer
6 with 2 trailers

Never underestimate a kids capacity of knowing trivia for something they like. At 10 years old my daughter was doing whole dissertations on a t-rex. She knew more than the museum tour guide person (who, in his defense, was just a college student working for a few dollars extra) And not just a t-rex, but just about any dinosaur. Everytime we go I learn more about dinosaurs than I ever really wanted to.

 

I was gonna say that and you beat me to it. I just had to renew mine in the fall.

 

Throw any farm kid behind the wheel at 10 years old and they'd probably outperform a lot of folks in CDL school.

 

Both of mine 6 and 10 can float fairly well but way of the world now and not owning the truck I doubt I would put one under the wheel at that age.

That said you're probably right though.
