Just curious to any one who has a window unit how you mount it at night, with out breaking the window....

I fabbed a shelf for it. On the top, it pulls against the inside of the door jamb, and on the bottom, it rests against the outside of the door. I covered all contact points with the soft section of velcro. The up and down weight is held by the window.

I run a small pulse 2300 generator on less than a gallon of gas a night. 5000btu window unit dose the job nicely. Better than the 3500 generator and 11000btu stand up room AC unit I had before. That used over 3 gallons a night and was no where near as comfortable or quiet as the current unit. Fair enough, but my 5 boxes (1 trailer, 4 truck) are full of tarps edge protectors, racks ratchets and securement tools too... and the sleeper is full of tools too.
I guess i could get another box put on where my passenger tank used to be...

    Lol

Thats a lot of FB equipment!!!
Securement doesn’t ride in the cab with me. I keep my bar and My flags and banners under the bunk along with oil and washer fluid and a few hand tools and zip ties. Everything else goes in the 3 60” boxes, headache rack or dunnage rack. 26F8A8B0-B824-412C-8B33-2C638BFDCD22.jpeg The generator and fuel tank go in one of the 60” boxes too.

You run that installed like that? I thought the side vents should be on the outside?
