So I have an opportunity to take a mon-fri line haul. Light weight at 12k total weight(including trailer)of auto body parts, but requires a 48' enclosed trailer. Home every night. The rate they offered is $355 a day, and will be right around 445 miles. I provide truck, trailer, operating authority. They pay fuel. Does this sound like a good deal or should I run?
Need advice for line haul opportunity

Run far, run fast, don't look back. You'll get just under 80 cpm. I know team drivers making that who don't have to buy a truck and then pay for insurance, tires and maintenance.
Bean Jr. and God prefers Diesels Thank this. -
$355 per day? Let's say you burned a tank of fuel per day, and call it about $300 in diesel. That means you make $655 per day. Did you really spend the time and money to get your own numbers, and your own equipment to turn around and make $655 per day?

Definitely too cheap. Even with them furnishing fuel. I am sure, if they furnish fuel, that will be with ‘strings attached’, such as you must have truck governed to a max of ‘X’ mph, no idling longer than ‘X’ number of minutes, truck must be no older than ‘X’ model years old. In other words, no running a 25 yr old large car w/8V92 opened up to triple digits.

Thanks for the input everyone, I was also thinking the rate was pretty low even with fuel being paid, I'm just not sure what maintaining a ram 3500 would cost at putting 116000 miles on a year.
