D13 has an option for a compression test only for informative purposes still have to do mechanical test to confirm something is wrong had injectors give false reading a few times also sometimes like jay said engine brake pistons get loose and keep valves open or remove clearance all together.

he said there was blow by like crazy. I went out had him turn it over and it was idling terrible, I saw no blow by out the valve cover opening was and I am wondering with only one good cylinder with compression can this thing even start cold? They recommending an in frame at 388k and blaming it on driving it to long with the engine light on, basically all the back pressure frying the ring? Any recommendations? a.bain@stealtharmorsystems.com
I told them I am having a Volvo tech come out to be sure before spending the money any thoughts? Need some adviceNismax Thanks this. -
Easy diagnose so you know properly. Pull injectors and do mechanical confession test. Should let you know what’s going on with it.
