Shop did it, just loosened straps, tilted over and replaced. Pickup/return is a separate port?

    CruzControhl2 Thanks this.

I was just curious if there was enough room to tilt the tank without disconnecting them is all. Didn't know if you had enough slack in the lines.

    CruzControhl2 Thanks this.

So what you're saying is throw a ####load of pb blaster on them for a week or so beforehand.

    CruzControhl2 Thanks this.

One trick to help with the strap bolt is put two nuts on the end and lock them together to hold and help keep the stud from twisting. Its the twisting that breaks them more often then thread stretch. Once you get the factory nut loose and get it past the first 1/4 inch of threads you are usually home free.

Soak, clean , and a little propane heat will help it along.

I also recommend getting the ball float in tube type sender. Much more acurate and longer lasting in todays watered down fuel.
