    I don't know about that. When I 1st started at Crete, the daughters were running HTC...then HTC was merged into Crete. By what I heard, they were doing it right and the drivers were happy, but it was just overwhelming them, so it was closed down. Not sure how true that is, just a rumor.

    OK...that's what I DID do(except I worked five days a week--who works six unless they want to?). Until I got into the yard I wanted. Now I work 7 miles from home, make about $30/hr with OT after 8, have dang good insurance and benefits, and I get to sleep in my own bed with my wife every night, eat real food instead of truck stop slop, and have an actual life. Yes, I had to sacrifice to get to where I wanted to be. Beats sacrificing and never getting where you want to be...YMMV.

    To each their own. If that's the type of trucking you prefer, best wishes to ya, but that type of trucking would drive me nuts...wait, drive me more nuts, in a few months.

    Yesterday I'm already was planned on my next load. I'm not leaving until next Thursday, but I am planned on a load out of GA that picks up after 13:00 next Thursday headed for IN. Probably the longest advanced notice I've been given for a preplan.
