    The struggle is real.
The last time a fuel shortage occurred (prices artificially inflated) the big thing was people doing the “pump and run”(last time that happened Indiana made it a felony offense). Now you’ve got people fighting over cutting in line!

Most of the major cities are going to have issues,as they’re densely populated. As the major areas start to run out people will go further out into rural areas looking for fuel if they can. As I mentioned elsewhere the majority of the pipeline runs along the I-85 corridor so I would expect fuel to be in short supply from Montgomery,Alabama all the way up to near Richmond,Virginia. And if supply is plentiful I would also expect some stations to take advantage of the situation and start price gouging(even though it’ll be illegal in some areas).

Just saw an update, the female was charged with simple assault, and the male with simple assault and damage to property. Doesn't quite seem right.

It doesn’t. Both of them should be charged with aggravated assault and battery, along with disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace, and destruction of private property.

Exactly. Her hitting the guys vehicle should not be treated as a vehicle accident, that is an intentional and thus should be treated as an incident (no accident report). The Knightdale PD is a small department. What I suspect happened is that once the PD arrived, both parties calmed down quickly. The officer most likely charged them with what he saw was the minimum to put it in front of a judge and let the court sort out the mess.

if this crap keeps happening, it'll only be a matter of time, before shots ring out.

people are frazzled these days thanks to all the shutdowns and mask wearing BS mandated in some states, and only so much people are going to continue to put up with.

some one's gonna snap.........and it ain't gonna be pretty.

That means along with I-85,I-77,I-95,I-75,I-20 and I-26 are all having supply issues.
If I were any of you drivers in those regions (North & South Carolina,Georgia)I‘d be prepared for looking outside of those states for fuel.

A few times it’s also made economy cars more valuable. Back in late 2000s when the prices spiked people were fixing up Geo Metros,Honda Civics and other fuel miserly vehicles and selling them for 2-3 times their worth.
I bought my Nissan Sentra brand new back in 2017(2016 model year-leftover dealer stock). Around 2018-2019 it’s value had dropped down to its lowest around $5500. As of a week ago KBB valued it at $8600! All of a sudden I’m getting emails from Nissan,Volkswagen & Kia wanting my Sentra and willing to pay more than what KBB valued it at(only 12,000 miles and it’s a 6-speed manual, lol).

Hey, folks should be happy right? There's less fuel consumption, ushering in the green new deal. One more pipeline shut down, how many more to go? Joe says, "look, here's the deal, everything's gonna be just fine, just fine."
