If you don't mind the work food service is where it's at. A lot of the places have 4 day work weeks and pay hourly with lots of OT available. Your 1st year 80k is doable and after a few years top out at over 100. You might have to sign a 1 year contract for them to upgrade you to class A but it'll be worth it

When I got my CDL about 8 years ago it cost $239.00 for EVERYTHING, including physical and med card, tests, the actual license... But I had the option to borrow a truck. -
Finding a truck to use for the test is the hardest part.
