dont remember well, i think 90cm would be max both for nose and for driver.
this is only for newly homologated cabs, you cant just use your old and bring extra length.
daf is 35cm as i could read.

No,i saw the cab.
Front is indeed around a extra 35 cm(a big foot)
But the back is also extended giving a real big cab.

 

ok that part. well i did some time ago pixel measure of daf cab. in my opinion center of axle to back of cab is something like 1200mm, now daf is 880.
i think front overhang is about 1500mm so about 450mm by my calculation.

i do that by finding photo that is as good as this two (perfect angle to truck).
I measure in paint distance between familiar spot, like wheelbase between two axles, wheel radius (for example 315/70r22.5 is 1014mm, than i check if wheel nuts are 335mm and rim 570mm to make sure that i did not estimated tire size wrong.
than i calculate how much mm is one pixel.
than i measure distance to front and rear in pixels and convert that into mm.

But from what is saw.........it is more,unless you measured a different cab which is possible because the driver told me that there will be 4 versions.

We will see but i think the platform will be a shared one for both the EU and the USA.

 

i am bit busy so did not had a time to carefully go trough all photos and realize which cabs are shown.
time will be soon, they show teaser video, launched special webpage for them...
i think it will be future too, at least some part of it.
demands that goverments put on truck manufacturers regarding co2 emission are huge so all tricks will be done to cut it.

 

The drivers will benefit from it.
The cab has a LOT more room inside.
I think some of our N A friends wouldn't mind driving it.
