Yeah she seems to whine pretty good, dont think she has much whistle
And first thing I'm replacing is the manifold to see if that helps cool the Pyro down, next step I'm upgrading turbo. And I want to check to make sure the IVAs have been backed off even tho it's deleted. I always get a check engine light that comes on but with no faults amd when it does I'm some what derated to about 21 or 22 lbs of boost
And the surging happens when it's powering up amd seems like it's fighting for fuel or looking for more power and can't find it. Not shifting gears tho

Yes it was dynoed to get the rwhp, was 606 hp at 26 psi of boost. Dyno guy said boost issues and also said egt issues getting a little to warn to quick

I'd say 700-750 estimate yes, but I also wonder if I had proper boost on dyno would I have achieved a greater rwhp number?

That Turbo number are used for an upgrade on B model Cats. No wonder your creating to much heat quickly, way to small for what your looking to achieve. I ran what BW called a stage 1 Turbo when I had my Cat. It did the job for my application at that time. I ran 550 brakesaver file with 58’s injectors on a 5EK series. I was getting around 650/700 hp(Miss it, and you can thank Commiefornia for that).
I’m surprised much others haven’t chimed in about your issue. Those SDP series are complicated.

Yes that will help You should be seeing 35-40 Psi for that hp level Low boost will account for High EGT forsure but theres alot more things that can cause high EGT as well but low boost is bad
