Have you tried the companies in Indianapolis? Lots of trailer rental places. I both own and rent trailers. Haven’t had any problems getting them but have relationships with about 4 different places.

Don’t forget convoy also for power only, it may be best to use them all. On back hauls with Amazon and Convoy you may be able to squeeze in a load that requires a trailer and that pays more- but you have to be really good with time management as being a day late to drop off there trailer may only cost you $50 but then it doubled to $100 per day. In my opinion that’s what makes power only worth it. Businesses such as Ryder and Penske are selling trailers left and right. Richie Brothers has their major auction 4 times per year in most areas - but I’d advise to pay the small fee and have a mechanic check out the trailer or trailers you have narrowed down to. All they would need is your bidder number and lot number. Be careful- prices are higher due to supply and demand.

Just buy a new trailer,It’s really not rocket science. New Great Dane, heavy spec floor, right way scale, 3 interior led lights and skirts $38k no money down..$800 per month. The only upgrade I didn’t do was aluminum wheels.

Power only you are going to lose more money monthly than a payment on your own trailer.
Do it right the first time around and stop leaving money on the table every load.

I got two sexy Great Dane dry trailers due at the end of July.. The 2021 I have now I may rent or consider selling at that time. Doesn’t have a scratch on it..yet.

I got a source (company I’m leased to)for trailers but only if it’s for me.

Ya we are planning on buying a new trailer but really wanted to save up for it verses finance it with our line of credit we have established. We have 20,000 operating cost that we not touching unless our truck breaks down but every place we’ve called this far about renting a trailer they either want you to have age on authority or there is a waiting list at least 3 months out. We will have authority in the next 7 to 10days so we were wanting to roll out. I guess we have to stay with company currently attached to until we save up some more money. Not really the way we were hoping to do it but unless we find a place to rent from we stuck. That really sucks.

Me and my husband drive team. We currently run 5000-6000 miles a week. We bust ### right now for this company but we are looking so forward to doing this stuff all on our own. I just can’t get over this trailer shortage #### that is going on.
