Sorry for being quiet just not a lot going on. Me and my buddy at work who I always run with are still on this auto fluff job to the landfill. 2 weeks of dumping 40’ trailers and KNOCK ON WOOD have been keeping them upright. Not without some close calls tho. I found this little guy whilst poking at trash at the landfill and brought him along for the ride as a copilot.

And speaking of copilots, @Trashtrucker1707 do we dare ask how the new guy training is going?
@Arctic_fox hows the truck running? Did they get your after treatment woes figured out?RockinChair and kylefitzy Thank this. -

Training went so so, as expected I guess. I'm a driver of habit, I have the same routine daily and do my best to hustle along the way, so having to rearrange my schedule and procedure to coincide with someone else is probably something I won't be doing again. With that said, after a week with me he shadowed me today on some local lime rock runs and did surprisingly well, a lot better than he was giving himself credit for. I'm not sure where his thoughts are moving forward but I hope he sticks it out because at least he's got a respectful approach to the trailer and the realization of how quickly things can go bad.
I'm empty for the weekend but will be loading some sand Monday morning heading up to TN, about 2 hours west of Nashville. Nice little change of pace for me, when are you going to be in P-cola @motocross25 Our customer closed up shop there and relocated their operation to Tampa, so I'm not sure how much of the panhandle I'll be seeing in the future.motocross25 Thanks this. -
@motocross25 Delivered a load up to ohio then grabbed a load of sand heading to kansas for this week.

@motocross25 thats a good tip about the pressure on the bags before pulling forward, although I follow that rule of thumb with some product, I failed to mention it so that’s something else I will share with him first of the week. You don’t realize how’s sketchy this job is until you try to show someone the ropes for the first time, there’s a lot of factors going on all at once. We should all be paid more for the job we’re doing

I only dump trailer bags unless I’m in some sure as heck sketchy situation, ive been doing frameless for 5 years and have only ever dumped tractor bags maybe 3-4 times.
motocross25 Thanks this.
