Yes, I agree 100%. I see a bunch of them asking for 12 to 24 months experience. To get started my top choice so far is TMC Transportation provided they are still hiring in the NH area. The map shows that they are but I don't know how often it is updated.

Don't know if TMC is hiring there or not.
@Jumpman
Website looks like they're hiring in New Hampshire and the job posting is May 2021. -
Any suggestions as far good schools in the area, any one know of what schools TMC prefers if any?
-
Better contact TMC and ask.
TMC does have their own school, but don't recruit students from most states. -
TMC doesn’t hire out of NH
There’s a couple of schools in the Manchester area but I don’t know if there any good.....NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
You'll be hard pressed to start a trucking career out of New Hampshire, it's a small state with not much around. Same thing goes for home time if you otr, hard finding freight to there.
NavigatorWife and Western flyer Thank this. -
NavigatorWife and Chinatown Thank this.

Eastern Freightways is huge out there, I'd see at least 5 of their trucks at the Pilot in Bow Everytime I went there. They're a starter company who trains, if I remember right they were the NEMF flatbed division when that company was still in operation
NavigatorWife and Speed_Drums Thank this. -
I will reach out to them as well. Thanks!.Chinatown Thanks this. -
