Back on point. I’m gonna say the chains are too flat ( meaning, he should have moved them closer to the coil by one spool), loose, and Christ it looks like one is pressing on the dunnage of another one, just waiting to be loose. What else is there?
PoleCrusher, cke, Linte_Loco and 2 others Thank this. -
"If possible, angle between tiedown and deck should be less than 45, when viewed from the side of the vehicle."
They're pretty far off from 45°.Nostalgic, randomname, PoleCrusher and 6 others Thank this. -
1. Half the dunnage isn't beveled/ half the beveled timbers are flipped the wrong way defeating the purpose of using "beveled timbers" on coils.
2. Some of the coil racks aren't underneath the actual coil.
3. No edge protectors.
4. The chain job is a complete disaster, like really bad. Some don't even appear to be binding at all...
5. No coil mats/rubber belting underneath.
6. Looks like possibly 2 or more of the coils are touching the deck.Last edited: May 19, 2021
RunningAces, D.Tibbitt, Nostalgic and 9 others Thank this.
