If I start driving all I need is a rice cooker , my wife is a tiny Filipina lol
We have discussed different things to fix on the truck and since she will be riding with me at all times we will have a rice cooker for sure , crock pot , electric skillet and a few other things im sure. she will just be a rider so its not like we are getting paid team but we will also hit the food joints along the way. She makes some great Asian dishes we can make at home and take with us.

I ate all my food from my electric cooler & ate 1 fast food meal from truckstop at end of week. Those groceries now cost about $50gwk compared to $150/wk eating twice daily in a restaurant during week.

There are tons of YouTube videos showing how to anything in a rice cooker. That works well in the truck if you have an inverter.

If she's a filipina, keep in mind, there's usually at least 1 truck in every truck stop with a "yapping"dog.

The drivers usually keep the window down a few inches when they're inside the T. stop.

    .... just a thought.

IMG_6938.JPG With a real fridge and a microwave I can spend less than $60 a week in total. That includes the food I buy to prepare at home and some ready to eat things, even coffee.

    I spend $700-900 a month because I don't eat s***.
I mostly live on grass-fed meat and eat hardly anything else and I grill it myself with a Coleman rain or shine. I've barely eaten any vegetables in 3 years and I've never been better. My health is more important than saving 500 bucks a month. I don't have health insurance and I don't need it because of how I eat. I used to get sick when I ate so-called healthy foods like whole grains and vegetables. Now that I literally get 99 plus percent of my calories from meat and haven't eaten salads or anything like that for over 3 years I don't get sick l hardly ever get even a cold.

I have a refrigerator, freezer, electric fry pan, paper plates, bowls, plastic utensils, paper towels. Try to shop every 7-8 days. $50-65 per week usually

Tonight's dinner. Chicken thighs, rice, broccoli. All cooked in one pan. 30-45 minutes total. About $2.50.

If i was OTR no way I'd be w/o a crock pot, George forman, and a mini toaster oven/microwave. Life isn't worth living w/o good eats

That's one of my fav dishes. Usually make chicken/broccoli/rice & cheese dish at least once a week.
