GPS for hot shot

    Starting to look into truck specific gps units. I’ve been though several apps on my phone and haven’t been pleased with any. Some goods and bads with all of them. Figured I’d ask here what you guys are using or might suggest. After having to take a 50 mile detour because of some construction though steep winding mountain roads and tight intersections in towns last weekend I’m looking more at my options.

    I have been using the copilot paid app on a dedicated tablet for almost 2 years.
    You can put in truck dimensions and weight and it is great 95% of the time. Got to learn its quirks though.
    Sometimes will tell you to take an exit ramp just to come back out to the same road you where on. I can recognize now when it does it and just ignore it.
    Pretty accurate with ETAs and has a pretty good POI search function.

    As far as I know, all truck GPS units have issues.
