How do you submit completed loads information and documents?
Start using a simple spreadsheet. You can do a web search and find a number of free ones for any phone.
Copy the load info from the dispatch info. Date, load number, trailer number, pick up and destination, miles. You get the idea. Also have a place for date that was turned in. Then match to your pay settlement.
Any loads that did not pay, that have been submitted by the closing date/time, send an email to your DM and ask why they did not pay that load. Also point out that this continues to be a problem, and it is unacceptable, you would like to know what plan they have in place to fix this problem. Now have a documentation trail. Only accept email reply.
Do this for at least 8 to 10 weeks. This builds a clear pattern. This provides the basis for the resignation.Last edited: May 24, 2021
Canadianhauler21 and slow.rider Thank this. -
Typically when your settlement isn't right it is because you forgot to scan in a sheet. The payroll dept will also send you a qualcomm message telling you as much. I've had small issues. Plus it is fixed and released the NEXT DAY when it is fixed. This waiting till next paycheck, the OP is stating is the next day and it isn't even a paycheck. Pay is deposited to our EFS cards. Settlements are 3 BD from scanning. I think our OP is just trying to jump ship and making up excuses. Getting paid properly isn't that hard. Trip sheet, signed BOL and any Lumper, scale, and/or washout receipts. Hell I even had our detention department call me last week because I'd not emailed them the BOL to get paid for an hour of detention. I said guys it was so small I wasn't even worried about it. Point I am making. Stevens, at least to me, has been spot on about getting me paid and letting me know when I didn't send in everything I needed to get paid. Worst case, for me, was getting my settlement the day after I expected it.
I suspect on the 1500 it was a lying recruiter and that is why he is "no longer there."Espressolane, God prefers Diesels and Speed_Drums Thank this. -

Class A CDL Truck Driver - Dedicated - $1300+ Weekly & $2500 Sign-On Bonus – Tennessee | Stevens Transport
Secure a new job.
Clean out truck, get photographic proof.
Drop off keys with a letter explaining you quit because they failed to pay you as promised. Email letter also so you can prove they received it.
When they send you a bill for your training, deduct the total amount of all of the unresolved pay issues, and pay the difference, send with a letter of explanation.
Or, sue them in small claims court, if feasible. Even if you don’t win, it would be fun being a thorn in their side... and, you might just win, by default or otherwise -
Stay a year. What is more important, letting go off the $1500 and staying or show them by leaving early and still not getting the $1500.
You will benefit from finishing what you started.
Never trade character for money.
The $1500 can be a story 30 years from now. Maybe teach your children or grand children from it when life doesn’t seem fair to them.Last edited: May 25, 2021
