one thing to keep in mind, if they do run you there in the winter, prepare to see snow storms unlike the east coast sees. When they predict 2-4, they're usually talking about feet, not inches. I've seen snow on Snoqualmie pass(the big mountain east of Seattle) piled higher than those fancy extendable front end scoop loaders can reach.

Mostly Iams from Aurora, Kawasaki, Lozier. But they are hit and miss, and lots of brokered loads to head back east.

Ya, the green truck only seen a few decent snow storms and one good one in the northern California hills and this year with the 30 BELOW STORM in Nebraska was quite the treat. I don’t mind driving in snow but ya, I know what I’ve driven in to date is nothing compared to in the northern states.

I moved an empty from a Target DC outside Portland to a customer (Kawasaki?) in the Seattle area so I assume the target was a DnH setup and now the customer in Seattle might be.

I run the nw all the time, I live up there,I get a variety of loads up there, generally on the way to the nw,generally running 80 out there,if unload in the Seattle area, get about a 60/40 split on running 80 back and and the rest on 90/94,and the winters do make interesting sometimes

Man, all that talk about the Pacific Northwest brings back a lot of memories. Started my Trucking career out there with system transport out of Spokane, WA, then transferred to TWT ( their refer division). My first winter in trucking was spent going up and down the I-5 corridor from Southern CA to Washington. That was a hell of a way to learn! LOL. I had no idea Gordon and Interstate sold out, we used to Drop trailers on one of interstates lots over by Seattle.

Well, it’s stupid windy up here in Billings MT right now. Wish I wasn’t in the area with only 2k in the box.

I fought wind across Nebraska Saturday bad enough to rival Wyoming, then in western Utah yesterday it was wild too...gotta love springtime

As promised. My numbers for my first 90 days as a flatbed driver at FCC. I stay out 3.5 weeks and I’m home ~3 days when I am home. The one load that’s lined out in read is the load that was canceled after I left with it and had to return it.

Any questions feel free to ask. I believe only 3 full tarp jobs, and 2 smoke tarped.

Unloaded my load of poles this morning in Covington GA, And headed toward Bessemer AL for a load of brick going to Wichita KS for Thursday. Brick isn’t my least favorite. But definitely not great unless you have those cage looking edge protector/brick-stoppers-from-falling-offers
