So I had tires replaced at a different Love’s location and stopped here (first love’s that had a shop I happened to pass) and asked to have wheels retorqued.

The guy acted like a dick from the beginning and refused the retorque quoting going over the 100 miles from service.

To me it’s w safety issue.
    Where can I take it?

Have you tried calling Love's customer service? I would raise hell with them. You can take it to any tire shop but a different company is probably going to charge you.

No I mean, I want to make them do it. I will be passing there tomorrow again. I already filled some complaints. This is a joke. Not to mention that he has not verified my milage or anything, just flat out refused and his store manager, well sided with him.

I’d take it to a different shop. The guy doesn’t want to do it. Do you really want him doing it? Do you trust him to do it right?

Standing on principle is all well and good but youre not going to teach him a lesson, and the temporary satisfaction you get will be shortlived. he has a position of power and all youre going to do is make him resent you MORE. That is rarely a good idea especially with a guy that has access to tools that can mess with your vehicle. Move on, itll be water under the bridge and forgotten soon

Okay, fair enough. I’d watch him like a hawk too, in that case. He’s already indicated he doesn’t want to do it. He may be on commission and not compensated for it, or something that makes the job distasteful to him. Years ago when I was working as an auto mechanic there were jobs that didn’t just not pay, but actually made you lose money based on the rotation. If something like that is making him show the contempt, he may not be on his A game working on it.

    John E. Thanks this.
