Fast food employees just went from making about 7-8 bucks an hour all around the country to making 12-15 an hour for standing around and trying to look semiconscious.
I think truck driver pay still has a ways to go upward to match that. 50cpm jobs should get a dollar a mile. Those 70cpm jobs should hit a buck 50 a mile. Won't happen though but it should.
Even CRE and Trans Am should eventually crack 50cpm in the trucker minimum wage segment.

6 months is the key to them getting paid. Its also why they offer a 5000 dollar bonus for returning drivers who were 6 months unemployed which I also took advantage of twice because I have a habit of taking year long vacations to the Philippines.Texas_hwy_287, slow.rider and buddyd157 Thank this. -
