I’m a big believer in Karma. No matter your religion, spirituality, or lack of...we should all agree stealing another mans stuff is despicable and he will pay for it

Actually, we follow all the same regulations as Semi trucks and we get pulled into scale houses way more than any semi. The reason is that DOT are lazy ##### and it's easy to do inspections on hot shot trucks vs a semi. A hot shot guy not following regulations probably won't last 6 months due to how often DOT do inspections on us. You see 1990 Semi's falling apart in the truck stops but I bet that truck hasn't been DOT inspected 1 time in 5 years. Meanwhile, my brand new truck and trailer have been inspected 4 times this year alone..

An update to the topic... I saw the guy today. I ran up to Tusla then back to OKC and today I was headed south on i35 about 50 miles south of OKC and I saw the guy headed north with an empty trailer. I was on the phone and the trailer barely caught my eye so I didn't catch the name or the truck. It was a white dually I think either a Ford or Dodge. It took a min for it to register so I wasn't paying attention but it was 100% the trailer with the 4x4's tied to the deck with wire.

I had a hunch the guy has a normal load he runs to have the 4x4's tied up like that. I'm betting he's picking up in OKC running into Texas and deadheading back to OKC.. I've been going through OKC quite a bit lately so I'm gonna check that hotel every time from now on to see if he's there.

I second this motion, I’ve had a level 1 inspection every 3 months without fail. Always got 0 violations.

I see so many semis that really should not be on the road.

Start chaining your tarps to the deck, wrap some around the binder tight, then pad lock it so they can't be stolen without cutting the lock off. Lots of guys do this....

    I’ll give it a third.

Most cops in my travels make it a point to target the small trucks.

I dunno what's happening with you guys but I had 3 inspections in 2 years and I get to bypass 99% of weigh stations.
    Just lucky?
