Yeah, even going camping in a tent for a couple days is a big hassle because all the crap you gotta bring including the 5 gal bucket, lol. And, who like sleeping in a tent with a cpap machine.

i made a very good salary working dedicated....5 nights a week, or some jobs 6 nights.

short hours, compared to long haul, or even regional.

had plenty of time for that "honey do list"

hated that part of being home more................

Dudley would have put it in a plastic bag, raised it up into a tree, so the bears wouldn't get it....

Although I always loved to camp, at my age those days of laying on the ground in a tent are way behind me. Even if I used a good air mattress, there still is the part where I have to get back up to the standing position again.:)

I know right? That ground is so far away.
And the reverse trip is so much further.

I try to get at least one, hard core backpacking trip in with my sons every year. Other than that, it's the cushy confines of the camper that we go to. I don't have to worry about any rocks in my back.

Dudley was a character in the movie, "wild Hogs", with Tim Allen. they were mid-life crisis guys, that had well....hogs..

Dudley crapped in a plastic bag, and wanted to hoist it up a tree, so the bears would not get at it.

to wit John Travolta's character said, "bears don't eat.........####........!!!!!"
