Yup, driving one of the spare 660s atm. Though i managed to get the one that is sans A/C XD so thats "fun". Oh well at least im making money. It will help keep things on the razors edge until they settle on my truck one way or another. Ill post the crash vid once insurance settles and in fairly sure i wont get sued.

 

I seen a similar event happen to a guy one time at a landfill in morris Illinois. Ol boy was right at the edge at the top trying to dump. The trailer laid a full halfway over. The guy jerked it up outta the hole an stood it straight back up and just a swaying. The operator that was standing by me trying to hurry me along seen it an dang near crapped his self.

 

Hope everyone’s long weekend is treating them well, sorry to hear about the struggles @Arctic_fox but I’m glad to hear bones stepped up for you, I called and talked to Paul a few weeks back and he seemed like a genuine guy, who knows what the future might hold. Safe travels to all.

 

Yea paul is awsome and has bought a lot of loyalty from me. He could have left my ### flapping in the breeze more then once. But has helped every step of the way where he can.

As for the weekend, the loaner trailer i had leaked pretty badly with a load of gypsum in it. No idea where though, tarp is good and the door has a seal. Ended up having to spend all day saturday finding a place to deal with the mess. Had about 250-500 pounds that had turned into this nasty sludge that was just dry enough to not come out but just wet enough to be a sloppy mess. Took 3 guys as many hours to get the mess slopped out of the bed. Woulda taken me most of a day if i had done it at the reciver.

Couldn't ya have just gotten it washed out with a pressure wand at a truck wash that does trailer wash outs?

 

We're in phoenix. The places we deliver at an reload at are both open tomorrow. Hope ya enjoy the holiday.

 

None would let me and no self wash ones in the area.

 

What’s goin on everyone? @Arctic_fox that looks like a proper mess in your trailer. I’ve never hauled gypsum before and from the looks of it I don’t wanna.

Southern MO been getting a lot of rain so we been hauling ballast to The rail material yard in Neosho MO and hopping into Oklahoma and dragging sand back out to an asphalt plant up in KC. Easy peasy dumps, hauling heavy and back road driving. Just how I like.
