2005 d12 fuel pump/electric primer

    Hey guys pretty sure my fuel pump went out today. I've got a service coming to replace it bc I wasn't sure how to get the fuel lines off. My only worry is that the electric primer is bad too. It won't do anything when I hit the switch. It's got power, the fuse is new. My truck will start with ether buy die immediately which is why I figured it's the pump. Any advice would be appreciated

    The fuel pump is under the alternator. Its a absolutely pain in the ###. With alternator in place and with it out its not much easier. Lines turn like 1/4 to 1/2 at a time and if you know what you are doing it will take you maybe 2 hrs. The electric fuel pump is just a primer it is not a primary.
