While servicing it one day I set the oil gun for 44 qaurts and walked away to go have lunch in another building.
Came back from lunch and open the door hearing an oil gun pumping away and thought that's odd I didn't notice anybody else come into the yard during lunch .
Oil gun stuck at 44 qaurts and man what a mess !Dino soar, Lumper Humper, Midwest Trucker and 1 other person Thank this. -

Another thread on here just triggered a thought for this thread.
I remember back in the early 90’s as a little kid my Dad getting a call from this whacked out driver that he was hearing voices in his head.
These voices were telling him to do crazy things. Well, my Dad told him to literally rip out the CB and throw it out the window. lol.
He did so and ended up making it home only to get fired. It was such a big ordeal that I still remember the guys name 25 yrs later.

There was a two bay loading rack on a level concrete pad surrounded with oil recovery drains.
Every third or fourth trip in we would see one side blocked and the guy who forgot to close the outlet valves on his tank wagon would be using the squeegee to push his spill into the oil drains...kinda like a walk of shame.
Way back I drive the fuel truck for a construction company. Repeatedly would be adding hydraulic oil as the fuel nozzle ran [pegged open with a stone] and those 580 cases backhoes leaked so much the darn fuel would runover every few times.rollin coal and bzinger Thank this. -
Back about 18 years ago my dad was running about 12 trucks plus another family business. He had gotten screwed out of some money from the lady getting his loads for his trucks. He caught on and asked me to find loads and keep trucks rolling. Well I knew all the drivers real well so I thought. Around Christmas time one year had a driver that wanted to get gone the day after Christmas. So I got him a load heading from Alabama to Seattle. Load didn't have to be delivered till like the 4th. So plenty of time to get there. Drivers were to check in with me every morning on my cell if weekends by 9:30 or try to at least. This driver checked in the first few days and then NOTHING. I would call and leave messages still nothing back. Well gets to be Jan. 3rd and still don't hear from him. Then I get a phone call from a guy saying who he was and that he had been running with my dad out west and wanted to say that he had offered him a job. My dad and I shared an office at the time. I just spun around in my chair to look at my father and grandfather sitting there. I told the guy that he was not my dad and he was just one of my drivers. Then I ask where they would be located. He said California running north. I was like WTF. Finally driver calls me and I act like nothing had happened. He made Seattle on the 5th and I had a reload for him going to Miami. Told him to swing through the yard. He gets there I am waiting on him with a relief driver. She gets in truck as he is getting out. Checks everything and finds white powder in a baggy. Needless to say he was fired and she was hired back full time. She threw his stuff out the door and took off. I asked him why he took so long and act as owner. He said those guys had some good cocaine. And to top it all off he was about 65 years old.
