I'm considering leasing onto All American Xpress in Calhoun, GA.
From what they told me is that they pay 79% of the gross pulling their reefers. Run to the West Coast & then back to Georgia... They will cover my base plate (at my expense). But I'm not quite sure about the 2290 yet... They also told me that they require a 2000 year or newer truck. They also told me that a escrow account is not required but is suggested.
I've searched all over the internet & couldn't find any references of good or bad from leasing onto them... I did find some bad from possible disgruntled ex-company driver's....
I'm curious if anyone has had any first hand experience with them?

I guess no news is good news.
I'll step up & become the resident guinea pig. I have to be there Monday morning for orientation & so they can inspect my truck. -
Hey Driver!
How is your experience with All American so far? You making any money over there? I have been considering leasing on with them myself.
Thanks
JD -
78%, wow, thats kinda on the low side. the only thing i found on them when i was looking to go there company was a bunch of class action law suites by former company drivers for being forced to run dirty logs and told run or get out of the truck. changed my mind needless to say.

Just to let everyone know... I did not lease onto AAX. I went to their orientation... After a couple hours, things just didn't seem right. It wasn't nothing they said, I just had a gut feeling that I didn't need to be there. So I walked out. Got into my truck. Went to Mercer. -
I think you will be alot happier at mercer. I have friends that have gone there and love it, make good money.

I just got terminated from this company for not being able to keep up the pace
they wanted me to.they expect you to run dirty logs, they tell you if you can't deliver
the load on time you don't need to be driving.the Company tells you if you are overweight run around the scales. In 20+ years of driving I have never been told that
by any company. A normal week for them was deadhead from lakeland, Fl terminal
to Orlando FL on Sunday night at 4 pm get loaded by 11 pm for a 3 drop stop in
north alabama tuesday. spend all tuesday getting unloaded at stops only to have
them tell you be over in norcross,ga by midnight and pick up a kraft load for a delivery wed.morning 10 am in lakeland.fl when you get down to lakeland fl
drop at yard and deadhead back up to norcross ga for another load expected
delivery time 4am thurs. morning. in lakeland fl only log last trip, don't log 1st trip
BY thursday your log book is a joke. You complete the load on thursday and tell them
you need 12 hrs off to adjust your log book,so you go home and you are seconds away from sleeping when the phone rings and the company tells you to deadhead
up to lee,fl pick up a load for a friday am delivery in austell,ga then go over to norcross,ga and pick up a load for Saturday am delivery in lakeland,Fl. You get
to start all over again Sunday. This is a normal week at AAX. The milege pay is
.34 loaded and .20 deadhead. this is why many drivers quit this company. Drivers
beware of this company. there is a reason why the D.O.T. is auditing them -
If i hadnt had to take care of my children i and my husband would still be working for aax!!!!!!!!!!!! We were bringing home $2000 a week easily which was from calhoun ga to kent wa load produce back to ga.all done legally and no complaints from company.trucks and trailers were inspected everytime they went to the yard.jamal lewis who owns the company did have some crooked people working in the management but they are no longer there.so maybe he will be able to pay the drivers more.if you ran illegal your fault not aax.if they ran you too hard they were trying to get rid of you!!!!! Which probibly meant you complained too much or didnt do your job properly!!!!!!!!!!
