Better and worse then you would expect. Truck was down pretty much half of the second month for def issues and ate up around 55k in repairs total. Then some moron in a honda ran a light on friday and likely totaled my truck. So not great lol. Remimber kiddys dont buy used DEF trucks. It aint smart warranty or no.

over about 2.5 months on a 579 with a paccar engine. Had to literally rebuild my entire #### def system, wireing harnesses, ECM, and there was a ton of other broken #### that had been covered up I got scammed basically on that truck. They hid a bunch of damaged parts as well as a potential odometer rollback and the 3 places i took it to be pre sale inspected majorly dropped the ball. Then once i got it finally running smooth mr.honda decided he wanted to run a light and wreck my truck.

I know you've been saying the odometer has been rolled back on that truck but honestly its not unusual at all for ECM miles and odometer miles to be off by several hundreds or even thousands of miles. Never seen any truck where they match. I always figured tire wear affecting the odometer was the culprit.

Not saying your wrong, just unusual that an ECM swap adds 200k miles. Not unheard of hence why i always say POTENTIAL. especially as there ARE a lot of reasons why it can happen. Especially considering all the electrical issues its had, but with the fact a lot of damage was literally hidden and stuff like internally pinned breakers I.E they direct sodered wires on the back of the fuse box....well it makes it suspicious as hell.

I didn't realize it was 200k miles must have missed that post. That's different. Normally 5,000 or 6,000 miles difference is what you'll see on any given truck.

Yup if it had been just a few thousand i would have chocked it up to tire size diffrence or something equally benign, but 200k exactly is....suspicious. As i said there are even for 200k ligitimate reasons why its so diffrent. But combined with the rest....well ill just say potential. All while i assume i was scammed and hope its been totaled so i can step back and come at this again fresh in a year or two with a diffrent plan.

Heh my idea of getting a low mileage def truck with a warranty that would last long enough to make the scratch i need to either order new or restore old iron backfired pretty badly. Playing with def is like playing with fire. You always get burned.

I just got home and had an amazing month. Ran from WY to CA to MD to PA to UT to WA to CA to ND. Was able to net a little more than 15K after all expenses. All of my loads were 11,000 LBS and under. Was able to get my brand new overhauled Cummins CM871 ISX broken in along the way.

    Be safe,

    Sophia
