I have a 2016 T880 and the a/c fan motor at times will not reach full speed.I have installed a new motor and blend door actuator and still at times motor will not go to full speed. The filters have been replaced.Evaporater cleaned and all actuators for inside air, vents, and defroster are working.Any ideas?

Bad switch likely. Had a 660 a few years back that had the same problem and swapping the switch fixed it. Could also be a short someplace.

I have a 2015 389 and had sporadic issues with my blower not working on high speed, then the defrost not working on the dash only setting and finally the push button for A/C would not stay on. The A/C Heater control module took care of all of my problems. Yours may or may not be the same issue as mine.

You have to replace the whole module or just the switch?

Entire module. I couldn’t find an aftermarket in my year, which are much cheaper than OEM.

Need to first check for HVAC fault codes and software updates.
