Newbie living in charlotte nc, looking to start a fleet of 26’ box trucks.

I dont mind getting in one and grinding it out myself for starters, but im looking to start a fleet and work with amazon relay or other companies.

I have about 40k to work with and im trying to pinch my pennies.

Any advice from experienced box trucks owners and fleet owners will go a long way. Im a grinder and ready to make things happen by any means.

@pavrom as I said, I dont mind starting out with one truck and grinding it out the first year or so to learn the game.

I totally understand that it will take time to scale. Just looking for advice from experienced box truck owners that have started with one and have scaled. Or have ONE at the moment.

I know a few people that own the sprinter vans and minivans and run expedited freight .
But I don’t know anyone with a box truck.
Box trucks usually require a CDL and if you gotta get a CDL , the bigger the truck the more money the driver gets paid , usually.

Like the old saying, buy the cart before the horse. Go to work for someone and drive their box truck for awhile before you waste money buying your own. I would rather be a basket weaver than own a box truck but you may love it. Try it before you buy.
