Picked up an old plow truck in hopes to make it a flatbed truck, I’m removing all the hydraulics and saw that there’s a pump connected to the transmission. Is there anyway to delete that pump or do I have to make a smaller reservoir for it to cycle through?

The pump is a PTO pump. You can remove it and put a cover plate/gasket in its place. Any truck parts place that specializes in transmissions or PTO pumps (Weller, Valley etc.) near you can help if you take pics of pump.
