Does axle overweight (2200 Kg) charge in Quebec affect CVOR points for a Ontario registered vehicle? I searched the web not able to find information on it. What is the best way to deal with this charge.
Used Google translate as the ticket is in French (see attached files)
"Operator of a heavy vehicle, let it circulate without a special permit when the load for 2 axles: 20,220 kg, exceeded that permitted: 18000kg
Axial mass exceeding 2220 kg on the B-21 semi-trailer axle Measurement taken with 30m tape"
Also vehicle IRP license expired, looks like no fine issued for it.
"Owner, used a heavy vehicle that was not registered in accordance with the requirements of art. 6 of the Code.
Notes: Registration expires"
Any advice would be helpful.

I don't know but curious where you got stopped.
Only ever got checked once in Quebec and I was up on Route 13, I was heavy on the drives but they let it go, the trailer had fixed axles. -
Moorti_i Thanks this.

On any ticket the driver is ultimately responsible for making sure it is taken care of.
If the company doesn't take care of it the driver will be held hostage until it is, if caught on the road.Canadianhauler21 and Gauravkaushik Thank this.
