Currently driving for Mclane NW in Lakewood, WA. Been with the company for 18 years and driving for them for 10 years. Here for vacation and I’m loving it down here in Orlando/Kissimmee area. I’m thinking really hard if I should transfer down here to the Kissimmee Grocery Distribution. What I want to know is, what is the pay for Mclane Suneast? How much is it weekly? I am currently making over 6 figures and I hope it will still be the same transferring down here. I know if I transfer, I will lose my seniority, but I still keep my vacation time, and pay. If any Mclane Suneast drivers are on here, please let me know what the current status is for pay. I’m sitting in front of my airBnB swimming pool thinking this big move when I get back to WA.

More than the actual DOT hours that’s on my paystub I get in my folder weekly to see how much I made working routes on prior week.
We go by the 60/7 cycle. I use up 55 majority of the week. Mostly 3 loads weekly. It can be 2 Montana loads(1800miles round trip each!) and a Semi Local(650 miles).

So you’re doing OTR? How much home time do you get?

We don’t do OTR. We run as teams pretty much regional. WA-OR-MT-ID-border of WY.

We’re based out of Lakewood, WA. So Seattle Area delivery and Portland deliveries are 20+ stores. These are local routes. The money routes go out further. The further you go out like to MT, ID, & WY, the less stores there are. 12 to 15 stores.

My usual day: Start Sunday at 1pm to MT(14 stores 1650 miles). Arrive back to DC Tuesday 9am to 11am. Go back Tuesday night at 8pm to Boise, ID route(16 stores 1100 miles). Come back Thursday morning to DC around 5am. Go out on a 600 mile round trip to Spokane, WA route at 4pm(650 miles 15 stores). Arrive at DC on Friday at 1 or 2pm. So I’m off half of Friday and Saturday to get the 34 reset to do it all over again Sunday.

You're not the first driver on this forum to do that. A few have already moved to Florida.
I don't remember which company they went with, but they posted they love the beaches and sunshine.

Y'all are running some real miles up there huh.

    I work out of Southwest/Temple.
We don't have anything close to the 1100+ like that.
