My wife tripped over something in our car-port recently and banged her head pretty hard. The kids finally talked her into going to the ER and getting checked out. I said ''finally, it only took 35 years of being married to me to have your head examined...and it took getting a concussion to convince you"

I didn’t post about his venting to piss him or anyone else off. I just hate to see anyone that’s been at this rat race as long as he is be that miserable. I’ll step aside. Not looking to make any enemies on here or anywhere else.

Absolutely. He may have issues and things going on, but the way he expresses himself here allows me to get out of myself.

Agreed. Anytime I think I’m have a bad day I read a paragraph or two and realize how great I have it.

Funny that U mention following @supersnackbar since U joined TTR

Back in the Summer of 2015 I bought my first Smartphone and started exploring what was going on in the Industry that I was involved with in my younger years. Having zero Computer Skills and after pushing quite a few buttons lead me to TTR and I started reading all over the Forum and 2 Individuals and a Group caught my eye

So that lead to going back and reading all about JB's and SSB's prior adventures and get up to speed

    Thanks Guys

Something new happened today. Was backed in to my dock waiting to live load this morning. Another driver just backed in 2 doors down (really small place)...10 min later, they came out in a rush and had him pull out and close his doors because they had an emergency inside the building.....when he did, a god awful strong smell of ammonia came out of their open dock door(ammonia is what they use as a deep freeze refrigerant)...but they didn't say a word to me, and I am locked to the bldg... fortunately, I can't smell it where I am at, but walk over to his dock, and your eyes start watering. Oh the joys of reefer freight.

Update---The plant manager just came out and told us that they had a small refrigerant leak on an evaporator, and they isolated it and are just waiting for the o.k. to re-enter the dock area and start loading again...if it was that strong of an odor with a small leak, a large leak would kill you before you could run for the hills.

Hope the loads weren’t contaminated either.

Do you eat Eggo's? Ever wonder why they cost as much as they do? I picked up Eggo's outside Grand Rapids and dropped them less than a mile from here in Mcdonough GA. Now, I am picking up Eggo's from a plant here in Mcdonough going to PA. Why not ship them from this plant to the cold storage behind me and save 875 miles(well, 874 miles I mean) of shipping costs. And the cold storage in PA is 200 miles closer to the Grand Rapids plant than to this one. Sometimes things make you go hmmmm.
