This all sounds perfectly normal for every smaller mega carrier that I've seen.

Three hired desk jockeys doing what one could be doing.

A royalty mentality with the office who treat the drivers like peasants if they have any concerns or problems.

All office employees related to each other, inbred with each other...or if they aren't yet they soon will be...at least bumping uglys soon or at some point.

Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing to see here.

when i was looking for a new outfit while back they call me saying they had no company positions open at the time even if the craigslist said otherwise being posted same day yes i know craigslist aint my favorite source they do have some ok gigs sometime come through just rare anyways I told them i have a year driving only and was looking for company they asked why i hung up after that. Any company who wants drivers espeically a rookie lease looking screw you over somehow down the line nothing but a bottom feeder company. I have a policy no leasing period I have my own choice a truck if I decide fix up my uncle truck which been sitting around over 3 yrs but least the truck would be mine if i decided go that route ever.

Ehhh. Did the guy having a couple drinks on Friday evening before he went home affect your ability to drive the truck at all?

    I'm guessing not.

If seeing people enjoy themselves a little offends you, just go work somewhere else. There are plenty of megacarriers that are COMPLETELY without joy. When I worked at Schneider many moons ago, the office personnel acted like they were in the CIA, and you were on a need-to-know basis with EVERYTHING.

Sounds like that could be a good fit for you.

I can vouch for that about Schneider. I put up with a lot of secretive crap from that company when I worked there, even 25 years ago. Most of their “driver hand book”was full of vague policies such as their idea of “quality time off”. All it said was 24 hours off, and the dispatcher I had took that to mean 24 hours of max whether you were out 1 week to 4, he would only allow one day.

Bottom feeder? Seems like a good atmosphere I applied the other day, nice trucks nice gear good reviews from other drivers etc. on YouTube. 1500-2000 a week, breakdown pay, I don’t get #### where I’m at, I’ll give it a shot. As I sit 72 hrs over the weekend waiting for a load on Monday that was supposed to be loaded Friday night but my teammates can’t get a trailer here on time. Mind you it’s 100 degrees a day in Utah......Hirschbach here I come!! Choo choo!!

Over as soon as it began made up with old company emailed Hirschbach and let them know, still looks legit if you’re willing to go hustle just like any other trucking job......
