Isn't there one road in particular that trucks need to stay off when going to the plant in Hollis, Maine? I'm thinking it's Route 35, but can't remember for sure.

It's been quite a while since I was there last. All I remember now was once you got off the freeway, and into town, there were prominent signs posted warning trucks to not follow their gps, but to follow the signs to the water factory.

As long as there are drivers who try to squeeze under twelve foot bridges, cross weight restricted bridges, block fuel islands and Cat scales, we are always going to have idiots who can't follow a simple route.

LOL... no doubt about that. Thanks anyway, as I haven't been over there is several years and know there was at least one road in particular they want trucks to stay off. I'll do a bit more research before my next trip there just to make sure. Thanks for the quick reply.
BTW, as far as I last knew, I think they only have the route posted for trucks coming in off I-95. It sounds like I have an upcoming trip to Hollis that will actually be going in there from the NW and not the highway.

The truck route is well-signed. You shouldn't have any issues.

They also have signs posted in the shipping office at the Poland Spring plant which routes are legal and which ones are prohibited to trucks(and they’re color-coded as well-remember-red means NO).

That road looks like what I go down for about 1/3 of my deliveries if its rained lately. Whats the big deal?Lock the drives, stay on the crown, keep it rolling, and get there. Whatever you do, don't stop.

    Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.
