At my 1st otr job in 1987 I got a 78 freightliner powerliner coe that in its day was a nice oo spec truck but by the time I got it , it was pretty sad .
I cleaned top to bottom and kept it that way .
Back in this time period it was still possible to get fired from a trucking job for somthing less than a rollover so about 6 months later a more senior driver we called Quickdraw got fired for somthing like brandishing a gun a customers property.
So I ended up with his near new truck and haven't driven junk since .Speed_Drums, truckdriver31 and Solo Soul Thank this. -
