One thing to note also is the over 4k core charge. Something is so messed up that the core can't even be returned.....

Thank you guys.. it looks like i totally messed up by just thinking that regular PM on a 2019 will do it... also, this truck got stolen on November 2020.. went missing for 1 week approximately and when found it went into the shop for one month.. where they did the transmission, couple of air leaks (due to whatever they guys who stole the truck did to it). Went out on the road again and 2 months later gave me issues with one injector.. while at the shop.. they found out tha the "camshaft" needed to be replaced... again.. one month in because of back order parts. And now.. this.. I don't know but I guess I messed up by not been more proactive with my truck.

But I trust you guys... if you guys think this 19k is a fair price than so be it.

    Thank you brothers.

Not a bad price really, spendy and a sticker shock yes. Especially after all that you have been thru.

Go to Volvo trucks North America site and hit the top 3 lines for service maintenance and the pdf will come up depending on year of your truck. Other in-depth schedules are there as well

NavigatorWife and Freedom Express Thank this.

Ishift aren't cheap to repair/replace from what I've read on here.

Fill out a tax exempt form and open an account at that dealership. Get a discount on parts and don't pay tax

They are not-and Volvo knows it. The VNLs pretty much have it standard nowadays-if you want a manual transmission you have to order it. But the clutch packs in those I-Shift transmissions are really heat sensitive.

they are not as expensive as dealer makes them either, if properly maintained failure rate is minimal and that heat sensitive clutch is there for protection from dumb steering wheel holders that can not back into a dock to save their life, I've done more than my fair share of i shift trans from whole trans to clutch and everything and i think the most expensive bill i wrote was around 12500 this was trans clutch and everything that had to do with it all oem parts from volvo. compared to some of the number i have heard in the past from what people spend at dealers that is freaking crazy to me.
