What the hell do you mean that tire "may be legal for a little while further"? Did you see the pics? There are CHUNKS missing.

Dude, if you have a blowout on a steer going 75mph, you're gonna kill someone. You can't move that truck. It is RIDICULOUS that you are in front of a Love's and they don't want to address the problem.

I didn’t see missing chunks. Only wear indicators. Looks like something seriously wrong with alignment, maybe even a bad kingpin. Looks like one spot is into the secondary layer. But no, bad view I guess. Didn’t see missing chunks. Lol. No steel showing. Run it Lol. Joking.

Well I looked closer. Still don’t see chunks missing. Just excessive river wear. I’d run it a few hundred miles. I doubt I’d do 75 mph. Probably 60-65. I’ve had steer tires blow twice. Despite what I expected, no disaster, just hit the shoulder. Still had 17 good tires on the ground.

There is a strip missing. You don't see it? Parts of the outer strip is down to the second layer. No tread, basically bald in other words. Same thing on the inside, albeit a smaller chunk.

Seventeen good tires? LOL! C'mon, now you are just trolling. The two steers are independent of the other 16. You only need one bad steer and your day will go to hell in a hand-basket.

No, just worn completely, with spots of tread left. That’s River wear. Should have been replaced before getting halfway across the tread. Bad planning on someone’s part. Though once past a certain point, it will wear very fast, and cause front end to shake bad.

Absolutely, but my point is that it’s not always a death sentence. I’ve blown 2 steers over the years. Both times were uneventful. I just steered to the shoulder. Didn’t come close to losing control. I wasn’t flying or in a mountain curve or anything. But a blown steer shouldn’t cause loss of control. A lot of Drivers assume it does.

No, It’s looks to be Legal. Not for very long. The treads still deeper than the wear indicaters, no flat spots on 2 adjendant treads. Till then, it’s Legal.
