Californians are scattering like rats. If it keeps up, soon people in Nevada and Arizona will too, and go back where they came from, cuz theres still gonna be water there. And food.

Quit building golf courses in the desert.
At what point will Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada tell California- "No Water For You"???
Every year we see reports of massive floods in the upper Mississippi/Missouri river region. Why has no canal/pipe system been built to channel some of that water to the Southwest? If we can go to the moon, why can't we move water a thousand miles?

I told you guys The OM has a rough draft for taking the water from The Great Lakes ( The one's mostly on Canada's side ) and channeling it into Lake Mead.

You ask why no canal/pipe system has been built into the southwest, but the better questions is why the NY aqueduct hasn't been rebuilt? Or why we haven't made a plan to replace all the lead piping in the country? Both of which of are greater importance and cheaper than making water run uphill for 1,000 + miles.
Or we could go the socialist route and end historical water rights. Incidentally, this is what both Conagra and Cargill want to do.Muskie, Lumper Humper and mjd4277 Thank this.
