DOT will contact you and give you a list of things they require you will have 30 days to provide such documents and the list can be different for every person so there is no guarantee so simply have everything legal and ready to go as far as the drug test you have to join a drug consortium you cannot simply take it upon yourself to do random drug tests! And it is made a little more complicated with the drug clearinghouse you will have to select the drug consortium and basically if you or a one-man carrier then they will be your designated driver manager so to speak if there is a partner that is not a driver they can be made your driver manager and then the drug consortium will give them notice to random you and they will have 30 days to get it done if it’s just you then they can call you up And random you with much less notice

You must join a drug testing consort. and have a driver app. in your file just like you are hiring your/self with the co. you have worked for in past with their paper or e/mail on how long you worked for them, they sell the kit at t/stops with all the papers you need fill out so when you send in file on your self all papers will have no blank places?
