hello all, what is the best fuel card to use in the southeast and midwest mainly. how does these compare to just paying cash. was thinking about wex or mudflap,whats your opinion

I looked at the mudflap app. And it uses your credit card. App shows where the fuel stops are and the price. I have fuel card, however, the mom and pop , or non chain fuel stops, have a problem processing it.

I was on Comdata for years and recently moved to NASTC wex fleet one. Results are still coming in but it looks very promising. 45 cents off vs 20 off the advertised cost.

At worst just start with mudflap, it has basically no barrier to entry, 20 minutes from downloading the app you can be using it.kwswan and slow.rider Thank this. -
thanks everyone for the replies,so is there a downside to linking a credit card.

If a cc or bank card not bank acct is used, theres a 50$ per transaction hold put on things, but thats typically cleared within 5 days
Biggest downside to mudflap if your truck is newer is no def on mudflap yet i dont think (doesnt bother me, my trucks are older)
