Sad thing is we're getting closer to that every day. Its sad that people don't want to think for themselves and would rather be controlled.

The so called driver shortage here will be over as soon as they get rid of rule #2 of the CDL requirements.

I checked and the USD equivalency is $1,384. 1 pound=$1.39 as of this time.

I lived in Germany for 6 & 1/2 years and drove all over mainland Europe. Never got to the UK. It was before my days I was even considering being a driver, but I remember enough about the Lorry traffic over there to know that's one place I would not want to be a commercial driver.
