    Bunch of comedians in CR!

Me: "Hey, I was wondering if you could look at my ELD early, I'm on the schedule for tomorrow morning."

    Shop: "Let me check."

Shop (5 minutes later): "You're on schedule for tomorrow morning."

Today i turned in my keys just a month shy of my 5-year anniversary at Magnum Ltd.

I thoroughly enjoyed driving for Magnum. My departure comes on good terms in an effort to be home on a daily basis. My next chapter doesn't involve a CDL.

For anyone looking for a great company to drive for, I highly recommend Magnum.

When i started here 5 years ago we were on the performance pay system where our pay was determined every few months depending on each drivers performance.

I was a newbie working hard and earned the very top of the pay scale.

Then we changed to a new pay scale where the base is determined by your seniority within the company. I didn't meet the top of the pay scale requirements, but Magnum grandfathered me into the top. So now my base pay was up there with the senior drivers.

Then Magnum gave everyone a 1cpm increase. So my base pay went up.

Then Magnum gave everyone a 2cpm increase. So my base pay went up again. Or maybe this was based on something else. Mine was a 2cpm increase.

Insurance became free for me in 2019.

I had one significant breakdown that lasted way too long, and Mr Gadberry took care of me above and beyond the regular breakdown pay due to the extraordinary circumstances.

Not once in 5 years has anyone told me i had to do something. It's always a request. Always a question.

If ever i need to reschedule an appointment, it's an exchange of basic information like when is my ETA and why i need to change the appointment. Nobody has ever argued or denied my request or told me i have to push harder.

Sometimes i felt a tad burned out and put in hometime requests that were a little more frequent and/or lengthy than normal for me. But nobody questioned it. Not even once.

Last year i requested to be home every weekend... Just to see if they would do it. Since i live in the Chicago area and they plan on expanding into that area they were willing to work with me. So most of this year I've been on a dedicated route and it's been nice.

I feel like a respected professional here.

Magnum keeps on growing. My benefits have gotten better over time. My pay has increased over time. Magnum is expanding and purchasing other companies (at least 1 recently). It's a great place to get on board!

I will miss Magnum and i will miss driving on the highway all day.

    Cheers

I doubt if we will ever do California.
Apu’s are not California compliant and refers are not registered for California

If you're interested in California, Holland also located in Fargo runs out there frequently.
