Yep. Discussions of unions, politics and religion are strictly relegated to their own forums, so threads don't turn into virtual barfights.

Picking up in Clute headed for Denver. This won't make it on this weeks check, but hey, it puts me over the safety/performance threshold with miles and days to spare. Besides, my bills come in on a 30 day cycle, and my month will be over 10k, so that's what counts anyway. Back to 'nanners

Bad day to be going thru Houston...err, let me rephrase, worse day to be coming thru Houston. (it's always a bad day when you have to come thru Houston... there's a bad day, a worse day, and the worst day). Coming out of Clute, TX, you come up TX-288 into town, then that merges with I-45. Somewhere north of I-10, the warning sign said major accident past such-n-such road (I don't remember the name)...traffic was at an almost dead stop where 288 and 45 meet. After 40 minutes of fighting and moving 100 yards, I chose to hop on I-45 south and head back to the bypass and go around. As I am on the bypass, not long before I-69, another sign...major accident on I-69 N...and traffic was backed up getting off there(which I had to fight thru to get back to I-45). By the time I got back to 45 north, it was full blown rush hour...I got to the J north of town (which is my mandatory fuel stop), fueled up and rented a parking spot for the night. Google Maps showed red and orange all the way up almost to where the lanes reduce just south of the NB scales. I got plenty of time on this load, I said F-it and parked until morning.

I was just watching that channel. Gives me hopes for that industry. Semi Casual has some sweet trucks on there as well.

SSB what's stopping you from doing your own thing?
