11R22.5 to 295/75r22.5 What will I lose or gain

Your rpms will go up by about 100-150 at cruising speed

 

I hate Low Pro Tires. I may be in the minority but I hate them.

They say you have less rolling resistance so maybe you will get a little better mileage I don't know. But they are closer to the rim and that's got to make your truck ride more rough. And I think they look ugly to boot.

If Al Bundy had anything to say about it, he would call them mamby pamby girly man tires. And he needs a man-sized flush like his father... I guess that's for another thread, lol.

At the same psi, youll mostly loose a little load rating, rpms to maintain same speed will be 100-150 rpm higher, (that may be good, may be bad for your setup, not sure, i went the other way and had to drop a gear to maintain my rpm at where i was because that was already the sweet spot, you dont have another gear to hit going higher so if you run too low a rpm, thats a good move, if already correct or too high, prepare to drive slower.

Mpg will increase marginally on better rolling resistance (.5% better) (but see previous paragraph, driving style and rpm make more of a difference) ride will be 5% stiffer (mpg will *look* worse unless you correct your odometer to what the truck now has)

 

Might be just as easy to eventually switch the trailer tires out.

Even regular 22.5 on a large car doesn't look good imo. I can deff tell the ride differences too, tall 24.5 is easier to keep straight than lo pro 22.5

I think 24.5LP looks good tho on a large car

 

Might want to ck availability of 22.5 standard....22.5 lo easily found standard 22’s aren’t typically carried by many anymore

 

No need outside of wanting to rotate your steers into the trailer. But not a bad plan, think sending your 11r22.5 drives to be capped and save em up till youve got all 8 to pop on your trailer if thats an option
