Neeley Trucking Xpress out of Crete,IL. DOT# 3409457. Owner is Larry Neeley. The guy is a straight liar, which I can document.

Worked for this company for 2 weeks. Truck turned out to be a used up ex big fleet truck, something my resume clearly stated I was not interested in. An automatic with an annoying radar system. Clearly a truck meant for rookies. A straight dog of a truck. Maxed out at

Owner didn't have all the legally required standard paperwork. Missing the IFTA registration, and the trailer registration. Said he would get those to me by Monday. Started on a Friday. He never sent copies of them to me, even though I asked repeatedly.

Blew a tire in Utah. Mr. Neeley said the tire shop didn't have a service truck to send out, and I would have to drive it in 16 miles. Even though the tire was completely shredded. I did send him photos. Passed 2 Utah state troopers with pulled over cars. Was expecting one of them to come after me, but luckily they didn't. I talked to the guys at the tire shop because I smelled bs. They did have a service truck, and they could have easily sent it out. Mr. Neeley was simply too cheap to pay for a road call.

That was the last straw. Told him to get me back to Chicago, and the truck needed to be straightened out. I was planning on quitting. I don't tolerate people lying to me.

Now he is trying to shortchange me on my final pay, a standard Chicagoland practice. So the war is on.

 

You have to expect it dealing with Chicagoland companies. It is what it is. I always get my money eventually.
