13 speed stuck in high range

    It will shift into low and high if I use an air gun to blow into both sides of the plunger housing. Yesterday when this first happened I was able to get into low range by moving the range selector up and down quickly a bunch of times, I was never able to recreate this or get into low range until today when I used shop air to move the plunger both directions. I've never messed with transmissions so I'm pretty clueless here

    Sounds like a good time to look for professional help. Very few people can R and R a Fuller back box with tapered counter shaft bearings. Later models require pulling the top plate as well. Impossible to do in many trucks. Have to pull the transmission anyway.
    Now I am making a lot of assumptions as you never even posted the transmission make and model.
    You also have to consider if you want to just have the back box rebuilt or replace the transmission.
    Did you ever check the pressure?
