I had one at the water treatment plant in Tulsa. Acid load. Was over 105 out and had to wear the suit. Was a spot of shade right next to the building where the emergency shower is. I asked the guy there if there was an alarm on the shower. Said no, that they had to disconnect it because the drivers kept using it to cool off. So I used it too and stayed nice and cool. Other places not so lucky.

Person who instituted that regulation should be the person doing the unloading!!. Never thought about there being an alarm hooked up to emergency shower. I guess that is probably a reasonable idea.

There are some things so nasty that if the emergency shower needs to be used, they are probably going to have to call the EMTs to the scene. So thus the alarms. On the other hand, I've been to places that just ran a water hose out to where the unloading was done and left the water running.

Old age and senility. Best bet is to reply "Yes dear". Then send her a reply asking where she left the phone your supposed to retrieve.

Wait, the OM is diabetic from giving her treats, yet pizza and human food is ok?

I finally found an open restaurant in PA.

    It's a Denny's.

Last sit down meal I had was at a Cenex in MN, so I'll take it.

The place is critically understaffed. And hot. But I need a steak and eggs. "Gotta feed your blood", as Mrs Skillet always says.

Between the heat and the 70-hr week, they done whipped the starch outta me.

Already told the travel agent I'm taking the afternoon off. He had me set up for tomorrow, but said he could "get it covered", but he "might need me for Friday."

I think I just set myself up for a world-class boning.

I don't care. I'm lying down in a nice cool sleeper and watching a movie. Maybe occasionally checking in on the hijinks here.
