    Dear Heniff,

With your recent purchase of Superior you have showed us you are All Stars in making wrong decisions. Thank you for showing us that even big companies can make terrible decisions. Even with all their knowledge of supposedly running a company and having a long time history in the trucking industry.

Since you have taken over Superior you have promoted only your previous Heniff employees and demoted those that were recently with Superior. Except for key components of people you needed. You have made Heniff employees higher ups over terminal that lack experience and the ability to be fair minded. People who play favorites and do favors for friends. This is not in the best interest of the company. Someone should be making sure these people are checking all the boxes and doing so fairly. That is not only doing so fairly but doing so in the best interest of Heniff. Although you have pretty much lost well over 30% of your drivers from what I understand you can still make this right. There are still people there hoping things get better.

If things do not get better there are companies that are being very competitive with wages, hometime and insurance as well as bonuses that they will go to. You can do this by first firing all your Promoted Heniff employees that are not doing their jobs. Dispatchers, Secretaries, Admin support, but mostly definitely your terminal managers and those you promoted over those terminal managers that continue to give Heniff a poor name.

I know previous Superior employees have up and walked out. Why? Because they were treated unfairly. Because they were looked over and down upon because they were not previous Heniff employees. No they were merely inherited with the buyout. Most of them were #### good people. People that did a good job and people liked them. These new guys have their own agenda. Honestly what you should have done is replace all of them with people not associated with Heniff or Superior. People who knew know one. Who didn't owe anyone favors. Who could have done the job in the best interest of the company.

I know this is really hard for you guys to understand since you have already failed and you are bleeding drivers, terminal managers, and dispatchers but just expect it all to pool if you don't act quickly.

Wishes the company the best because a lot of folks livelihood depends on it.

Well, from what I was told, members of this investment group who bought both heniff and superior were suppose to have some experience in running and operating a trucking company.

I do know here in Pasadena Tx they are in the process of getting rid of all the superior Mack’s, Peterbilt and internationals, and they are bringing in those green heniff Peterbilts. There are at least 6 of those trucks just sitting waiting to be assigned to drivers. My mack only has 285,000 miles on it, not sure why they want to get rid of them so soon

    Lonesome Thanks this.

I've talked to numerous former Superior drivers that said they never would've left if Heniff hadn't taken over

Investment groups are simply people who pool their money to make investments. Their primary motivation is to make the most money possible.
They look for trucking outfits under pressure to get the best price in a strong freight market They also look for companies that can benifit their existing services they offer their customers Cost of Technology upgrades, insurance rates/payouts & regulation compliance can easily put a company operating on tight margins on the sellers market.

Clearly there are issues. I see them each and every day. I hope they get them worked out. Been here a long time and would hate to leave. I was loyal to Superior very few problems and I'm trying my damnest to be loyal to Heniff. But, its really hard when I see what these people have done. The favoritism and beyond. I've been waiting on a new truck for 8 years and Ill just leave it at that. Don't really want to call anyone out on their bad choices. They know who they are.

And here in Pasadena Tx we have drivers turning down new trucks because they like the trucks they are driving. We have about 6 new peterbilts just sitting around waiting to be assigned

Nice job OP. One of the few posts in the BAD section that was well written, made sense, and wasn’t a B**ch fest. You also didn’t become a one and done poster.

Honestly, I wouldn't have cared but it was given to a new Heniff guy. When it was well known I had been waiting. I'm ok with it I see how this specific terminal will be run now and I am looking for another job. I will stay here till I find what I am looking for. My seniority does not mean anything when I'm being passed over for new Heniff drivers because they know someone at Heniff in a position of authority. But, even after I do leave I wish them the best and hope they can get this all sorted out for the people who remain behind.
