I hauled a machine to make dentures. They told me it was worth $800k.

When I was a kid, my dad hauled a Horch and a 540K. Those 2 would have been worth a cool mil back in 1982.

As a company driver I rarely notice, or care if I have gold bars, nuclear waste, or crates of spotted owls in the trailer. It's just stuff for a customer.

I ran for North American Van Lines in their High Value Products- Electronics - division. Ran a lot of very high dollar freight. Mainframe computers, medical equipment etc. Two years of that I ran a crane trailer and it would not be unusual to have 10 million+ dollar loads of telephone switching gear.

Hauled Bell helicopters for a number of years. Valued anywhere from about $3 million up to about $18 million, depending on the model. Best loading and unloading ever!

Back in 90 to 92 I drove around Virginia's copy of the Bill of Rights as part of a 17 or so truck tour.
We went to all 50 states capitols w the exception of CA and TX which had 2 stops in the largest cities. Took 2 years.
The document, one of the 12 remaining originals, was housed in a nitrogen filled tamper proof glass case and transported in a armored vehicle inside a armored electronics van.
Accompanied by secret service and fbi the entire tour we all had to clear background checks.
    Protesters were at every stop.
Don't know if you could put a value on the document.
